What a super album 
2003-07-05 - If there is someone out there who is timid about buying this album, don't be. Superwoman (where were you when I needed you) is one of Stevie Wonder's best song. Immediately, in the beginning of the song, Stevie uses his lyrical skills to turn a simple statement like "very well" into a double-entendre, and just when I thought the song was ending, it broke into this wonderful melody displaying Stevie's superior skills in many instruments. Than, the vocals at the end are so amazing, and the way Stevie delivers the lyrics is even more amazing. This song is 8 minutes of sheer greatness, and this song alone should convince you to buy the album.
What can I say?
2003-03-19 - I first heard this album when I was 18 years old and had just moved in with my sister who is 14 years my senior. What a great move! I began to learn what real music is. Music that comes from the heart and gives you a glimpse of a person's soul. Super Woman is probably my favorite becuase of the powerful vocals on the second half, but Happier than the Morning Sun moves me to tears every time I hear it. I love this album and would recommend it to anyone who listens music to feel joy, love, happiness and even sadness in some parts. Good buy!
undervalued classic
2002-10-15 - This may be a hard to find album in a few years. Superwoman is one of the many good songs on this album.
Underrated 
2000-02-01 - Of all of Stevie's albums, this is my favorite. His 1st solo-production. The creative beats and the rich lyrics are second to none. My favorites are Been So Long and Love Having You Around. Pick this one up; remember yesterday and enjoy!

2000-01-26 - Though often ignored when discussing his classic albums,MOMM is where Stevie Wonder's genius start to blossom.It is important for two reasons.First it established Stevie as a musical force to be reckoned with and finally shed the "Little Stevie Wonder" image for good.Second,it pioneered the use of synthesizers as a musical instrument and not a machine to create unearthly sounds.Credit should be given to Malcolm Cecil & Robert Margouleff(two synth wizards who recorded as Tonto's Expanding Head Band) for guiding Stevie in his new musical direction.Love Having You Around takes the clavinet-based funk he recorded on Do Yourself A Favor(from Where I'm Coming From) and expand on it.Superwoman(Where were you when I needed you)is an amazing recording where the first half of the song,he sounds troubled about his woman,then the second half he feels let down by her.The arrangement is also something to behold.Keep on Running is a funk tour-de-force,and Happier Than The Morning Sun & Seem So Long deserve praise.If I have any gripes about this album,is that it help usher in a new era in electronic music,where today,many synth based music sounds artificial & inhuman.Maybe this album should be required listening for up & coming producers and/or musician on the warmth and life that Stevie eminated from his Synths,including Stevie Wonder these days
