One Touch Reviews:
Good singles
2004-03-17 - Great band name! This album has the original line up of girls. Siobhan later did a Geri Halliwell and abruptly left the band. The Sugababes got in a new girl and have released two other albums, "Angels With Dirty Faces", and "Three".
"One Touch" has cool little choons that sound different from the pop music out now. Not as over the top as The Spice Girls (the best pop group of the 90's), not as schmaltzy as the boyband sound. The girls sound alot older than their 16 years. But their still only under 20 and it can be kinda funny listening to them trying to be all artistic and soul divaish with their vocals. But great singles. Pick this up. The Canadian domestic release has the same cover only black.
Soul sound
2002-12-09 - I didn't really like their debutsingle "Overload". So I was surprised that the album is that good. These girls are going to be the new En vogue. The album is R n'B at its best.
Overload: Their biggest hit so far. I had to get used to it. By far not their best.
One foot in: This R n'B song is just irresistible.
Same old story: They are not just little girls who have to smile and be nice: They prove it with this song.
Just let it go: This one has soul. I love it.
Look at me: Not Geri Halliwell's song. None of their best.
Soul sound: This one is my favourite I can't believe that they were only 15/16 when thy recorded the album.
One touch: I don't really like it. A little bit boring.
Lush life: Like "OT"
The real thing: A dance song. It's so-so.
New year: I love this ballad.
Promises: So-so
Run for cover: I love this one. The second single wasn't so successful but it's just great.
Don't wanna wait: Nice song but nothing extraordinaire (?)
