Good pick for Rambo fans...and Movies for guys who like movies! 
2009-11-12 - This set is full of exciting, intense, and overblown fake action! Rambo is an American hero and if you want Stallone-type action where the stunts are amazing, the war is gruesome, and the body count is high, than Rambo is your series!
My favorite is First Blood (Part 1) because it has the best storyline (if you can have a solid story in this series), but the action is also top-notch.
Rambo (Part 4) is a close second. Stallone goes out with a bang in the series. I was hoping Stallone would make a prequel (obviously he would be too old to play Rambo in Vietnam), but still I think a trip to Southeast Asia could be extremely intense!
If you don't have the movies already buy the four pack!
The World's Greatest Hero!
2009-09-10 - Rambo is the world's greatest hero!
I can never grow tired of watching Rambo movies!
Unlike all the other senseless violence on Hollywood screens, Rambo's
actions make a lot of sense and are fuelled by Justice and Compassion.
I see these 2 important themes played out more than the external
actions of his self defense.
Rambo always fights for a Higher and Greater Cause, unlike the usual
mindless solider in any war that seeks only to suck up to his puppet-
masters dressed in shiny buttons.
Anyone who can transcend the useless "values" of the modern world
will always have my admiration. Rambo is one of these admirable
on-screen figures.
Anyone who has ever lived like a poor commoner for years outside
comfortable America can see how a hero like Rambo can really change
things for the better!
Anyone who has ever been betrayed by once trusted authority figures
and evil government agencies can relate very well to Rambo!
I highly recommend Rambo movies to anyone who wants Justice done in this
evil world!
Rambo is much worthy of real life emulation!

The Best Collector's Box Set on Rambo Available!!
2009-08-14 - I just ordered this box set and I'm pretty excited to watch it and review it, I'm glad I waited all this time to own all the saga in one sweep since I didn't own any copy of these movies. Multiple advantages comes to my mind for example:
1.- Have all the movies in just one convenient and attractive package.
2.- Get the most of the documentaries in one disc.
3.- Great price, currently Amazon is seeling the product @ $31.49 that's $7.87 per dvd.
4.- New features non available on previous dvd editions.
5.- Digital copy from the latest movie Rambo, for use in your portable device which is something very cool.
Now after watching Fisrt Blood there's one thing that substracts 1 star from my review, No subtitles, the movies have NO SUBTITLES NOR CAPTIONS, how this thing come in the day and age when the DVD's have loads of content, documentaries and special features? Why Lionsgate omitted to put subtitles and close captions?, some people who already reviewed this set commented on this and here's my two cents, these people (from lionsgate) played hard ball with the constumers, maybe they are planning on releasing for christmas this box set on Blu Ray and forcing us to buy the product again and maybe then they put on the subtitles which make this set very tempting to buy, too bad, I won't.

2009-05-06 - Gotta have this if you're a Rambo fan and don't already own a collection. The case is sturdy, all the movies are right there, and it's Rambo... What else do you need?
Possibly the best Rambo set yet! Great action movies+decent extras= excitement to the nth degree!
2009-04-01 - The Rambo Collector's set is probably the best Rambo set to have in your collection. I read reviews about the original special edition discs of the first 3 Rambo flicks and that set was good. Then the Ultimate Edition set came out. Artisan must have really been on drugs to release that set because that set was a pure waste of money (I never said that I bought any of these sets, just heard about them). I saw the Collector's set at a Wal-Mart and I bought it for less than 30 dollars. Great deal since it does have the Ultimate Edition versions of the first 3 films with the new one in a 2-Disc Special edition with a digital copy. The set rounds out with a bonus 6th disc with most of the extras incorporated from the original special edition set. The only thing about the Ultimate Editions that suck are the interactive options features on all three original films. The stuff that is there is not that informative. The commentary tracks are definitely more informative. The new Rambo got the best treatment of them all with all the extras on one disc with disc 2 being the film's digital copy. It should've been on the movie disc and not on a disc of it's own. Stupid. All-in-all, this set is recommended and it is very cheap too. If you cannot find the original special edition set then this collector's set is the one to have. 6 discs at a price less than 30 dollars makes a great deal. Worth it all the way.
