Editorial Review:
Fearless is the 2008 sophomore album from Taylor Swift, the young Country singer/songwriter who charmed the hearts and charts of America beginning with her debut single 'Tim McGraw'. Her triple-platinum self-titled debut release has scanned over 3.4 million units and spent more weeks at #1 than any other Country album this year: 24 weeks! Taylor is the only Country female artist to have five Top 10 singles from a debut album and the only Country female vocalist this decade to reach the Top 5 on Billboard's Hot 100 Chart. Needless to say, she's a sensation that has only just begun to show what she is capable of. 13 tracks including the single 'Love Story' and 'Change', first heard during the 2008 Summer Olympics. --This text refers to the Audio CD edition.

Fearless Reviews:
Swift tells a good story 5 Star Review
2009-12-12 - Her songs tell great stories very true to the country song telling style. Taylor has a lot of talent and is easy to listen and sing along to.

Catchy Pop/Country album. 5 Star Review
2009-12-10 - Taylor Swift's sophomore effort is a perfect album. Taylor is known for her ability to write songs in 20 minutes, but her songs doesn't sound like it. Actually, they're really sensitive and amazingly good. Taylor is often accused of only writing about high school love and that's why some people hate her and I think she's underrated. She shouldn't be compared to young Disney stars who have no talent, because she's really talented and she worked her way to the top. It's true that she's not a Dolly Parton or a Faith Hill, but she doesn't want to be. She's only 20, and she's singing about things that happened to her, but as she grows older, she's gonna be more mature and I'm sure she's gonna put out better and better albums.
In fact there's something for everyone on this album.

Fearless (5/5) At first I wasn't too fond of this song but it really grew on me and now it's one of my favs. For me, this song is about being fearless in life. Not a love song.
Fifteen (5/5) Amazingly nice song about your first day in high school, knowing no one, but finding friends at last. Again, not a love song.
Love Story (5/5) Beautiful song about an idealized Romeo and Juliet kinda forever-lasting love. This song can make you really happy.
Hey Stephen (5/5) The song is about convincing a boy to let her in. I think a lot of girls can relate to this song.
White Horse (5/5) Very sad song about being let down by a boy, who you loved. Again, relatable.
You Belong With Me (5/5) I think this song is about the same story as Terdrops On My Guitar, just from a different angle. I could be wrong though.
Breathe (5/5) Saying goodbye to someone that you used to depend on, and feeling all alone in the world cuz you can't breathe without them. Love song but ANYONE can relate to it, it's not about teenage love.
Tell Me Why (5/5) One of the best songs on the album. Check it out. :)
You're Not Sorry (5/5) Very sad song, amazing.
The Way That I Loved You (4/5) Being with a perfect guy but missing the imperfection of the previous one that you loved so much. Very good lyrics and song.
Forever & Always (5/5) The Joe Jonas song. (Lol, I hate that guy.) Anyway it's about insecurity about a relationship, because you "don't feel welcome anymore".
The Best Day (5/5) Beautiful song about loving your parents and being thankful how they made your childhood happy. Not a love song again.
Change (4/5) Maybe this song doesn't quite fit for the album, it's a pop/rock song actually. Not a love song.

So there are 9 love songs out of 13, I don't think it's that much. Most of the singers sing about relationships. She herself said that it's her favourite topic and I'm perfectly happy with it. So if you wanna listen to songs about the weather or work or whatever, it's not your album. And if you expect Dolly Parton, it's not your album either. Then listen to Dolly Parton, because in 2009 no one will sing those kind of old-fashioned songs.

5/5 for this amazing album.

VERY BORING TEENAGE POP MUSIC 1 Star Review
2009-12-07 - I FIND TAYLOR SWIFT TO BE A BORING POP SINGER,IF THIS IS COUNTRY THEN THEY HAVE LOWERED THERE STANDARDS,SHE NEEDS TO GO,AND,STAY ON THE POP CHARTS,SHE DOES NOT QUALIFY FOR ANY KIND OF COUNTRY MUSIC AWARD,AND, GIVING HER A GRAMMY IS INSULTING,VERY BORING PERFORMANCES,HER CMT CROSS ROADS WAS FLAT,BOTH CD'S ARE BORING,VERY BUBBLE GUM POP,NOTHING COUNTRY ABOUT HER,SHE HAS NEVER LIVED IN HER OWN,SO MOMMY,AND,DADDY SUPPORTED HER SO SHE COULD SING IN CLUBS,SO IF IT CAME DOWN TO IT SHE HAS NO SURVIVOR SKILLS,SERIOUSLY GO TO THE POP CHARTS,OR,ELSE BK TO PENNSYLVANIA,AND,GIVE IT UP VERY BORING

Seems to be too much anger and disappointment in this cd 3 Star Review
2009-12-03 - I enjoyed this album, some of the songs are really cool, like
Love story
Hey Stephen
Breathe
Fearless
Change

But many sound a lot like someones dirty laundry and botched relationships and VERY repetitive
White Horse, You're not sorry, Forever and Always, The way I loved you, Tell me Why

All those songs have the exact same theme..."I once loved you and now I'm sad/angry with you"
I don't know about you, but I really don't like to listen to someones anger at an ex boyfriend and sadness over a messed up relationship
Don't get me wrong, I love Taylor swift, but I think this album has way too many break up songs. One or two per album is enough.

Combo 3 Star Review
2009-12-03 - A cross between Cheryl Crow and the Dixie Chicks. Is it true that there is really nothing new under the sun?
