D Fun Pak Reviews:
worth the money
2009-03-10 - My teenage son tells me it was worth the money spent. I listened to it, I don't agress, but it was purchased for him.
The must find of tenacious D singles.
2007-02-28 - I was one of the few privliged people who got this single when it was released at records stores. It contains four tracks:
1. Cave Intro demo (0:46)
2. Jesus Ranch demo (2:14)
3. Kyle Quit The Band demo (2:10)
4. Exploivo (Mocean's Worker's Megamix) (5:02)
This is a very short single, but Jesus Ranch is a classic staple of the Tenacious D band, and one of their most funny songs. It is worth tracking this down. This captures the original and fresh sound of D when they were funny, and not worn out. Worth the investment if you are a fan.
D Fun Pak: For the big fans only
2003-11-05 - Tenacious D's D Fun Pak isn't really a Pak at all. To the casual observer, it is simply a 4 song CD in a cardboard CD single sleeve. But to the Tenacious D fan (aka D-sciple) it is a precious find. Released in 2002, it was only available at select record stores around the U.S. and it's existence was only known to web savy fans or customers who happened upon it in counter displays. The 4 tracks include: 1)cave intro(demo)
2)jesus ranch (demo)
3)kyle quit the band (demo)
4)explosivo (mocean worker's megamix)
Jesus Ranch was worth the price of the CD alone, as fans may remember the song from the hbo series of short films.
