Good compilation for new fans, but it does not really include the greatest hits 4 Star Review
2008-02-23 - For some reason it is not specified that this compilation only covers the recordings made for EMI and not the ones for Fonvisa (1990 to 1994 I believe). Maybe this CD should have been titled Thalia's greatest hits - the EMI years (I guess they use this kind of naming for older artists no longer active or that passed away). There is always controversy on "greatest hits" compilations by any artist, so it's good that some have adopted ways to improve the way the "hits" are chosen. For example in 2002 Bjork gave the chance to the fans to pick their "hits" online from all the songs that were published up to that point, other artists have gathered all their #1 singles or top ten... In Thalia's case it seems that they picked the most commercial singles and songs that identified her such the soap opera themes. A more consistent compilation would have been a better introduction to new fans or simply as a good overview of Thalia's recordings for EMI. I agree with some fans that the soap opera themes should been left off. Only 1 track from "En Extasis" is included here, great songs such "Amandote", "Gracias a Dios" that were singles and somewhat hits were overlooked. Also "Por Amor" a single from "Amor a La Mexicana" was not included. It's ironic that the DVD release includes all the videos (except the remixed ones) for all the singles. Bonus track "Accion y Reaccion" is probably what makes worth buying this CD for loyal fans. It's a great song made in the style of "Arrasando" but with a more tropical sound. "Cuando Tú Me Tocas" is more of a filler that really does not belong in this CD. Hopefully in the future Thalia will be able to gather her real "hits" from her whole career.

Beautiful 5 Star Review
2005-11-25 - Thalia possesses a powerful, sultry voice that she skillfully alters to fit the music's mood, in the fashion of Mariah Carey or Celine Dion. She can ooze mournful passion out of a folk song like "Piel Morena" or can seduce even the most surly of thugs as on "Me Pones Sexy" (the original, more sensual Spanish-language version of "I Want You"). She's capable of getting the dance floor moving, as she does on the frantic "Mujer Latina," but she can also draw couples to a slow dance, as she does on "No Me Ensenaste." Thalia's GREATEST HITS also includes two new tracks, the hooky, sing-along "Cuando Tu Me Tocas" and the breathy dance-floor bound "Accion Y Reaccion."

Excellent ! 5 Star Review
2005-09-24 - A very good collection but some fabulous songs are missing like 'Rosas', 'Fantasia' and 'Qiuero Hacerte El Amor'. Why weren't they included?

Great album! 5 Star Review
2005-08-19 - Calling all Latin music fans. Thalia's Greatest Hits album is exactly what it says it is.
Beginning with Piel Morena, from her debut release, and ending with Acclon Y Reaccion, the CD covers the singer's hits over the last ten years.

While A Quien Le Importa is guaranted to fill up the dance floor, Latin lovers will be floored with Amor A la Mexicana and Entre El Mar Y Una Estrella.

She's a true Latin diva whose talent speaks louder than her words.
