    Zathura/Jumanji (b2b) Reviews:
    Jumanji's good---Zathura's better 4 Star Review
2007-03-29 - I have seen both of these movies. Jumanji is pretty good but the special effects are pretty hokey.(Which is good for unintended laughs, but not if you want true escapist entertainment)Zathura is really belivable, however, and that's a really big deal for a sci-fi. They used old-school effects like explosives and models whenever they got the chance, instead of everything being CGI.I would recommend Zathura---and maybe Jumanji.

2006-11-04 - These videos were as advertised and arrived promptly. Movies are great to stimulate the imagination of the young.

The Perfect Pair 5 Star Review
2006-07-25 - This is a great Box Set for action lovers. Zathuru and Jumanji are very like each other except Jumanji is 11 years old and is an Animal Version while Zathuru hasn't even been out a year yet and is a space version. But they each feature a Board Game where everything that the card/hole says comes to life.

Zathura (2005) is about these 2 boys who are fighting alot. One of the boys finds a board game called Zathura and accidently starts it up. Soon their house is flung into space. As the boys play the game everything on the cards that pop out comes to life, Which lead to a Giant Robot, Evil Mutant Lizards and a visit from a mysterious man from the Future.

Jumanji (1995) starts off way in the 1800s where these two boys are burying this game called Jumanji. In the 1969 a young boy called Alan finds the game and starts playing it with his friend Sarah. Words start appearing in a black hole in the middle of the board. Whatever it says comes to life which also traps Alan in the Jungle. 26 years later in 1995, a young girl called Judy and her younger brother called Peter also find the game and start playing with it which frees trapped Alan many strange things. Together, along with Sarah, have to finish the game and set everything right.

Their brilliant Movies and are a perfect box set. You wont be dissappointed.

Zathura / Jumanji 5 Star Review
2006-06-24 - If you are a fan of Jumanji and can't get enough of it like me, then this package is great for you. When I saw the ( b2b ) which stands for (Back to Back), I was kind of worried about what I would be getting. Then in the discription I saw 2 discs and felt a little better. The pacakge is great, you actually get 2 seperate DVDs. [ Zathura :Special Edition & Jumani: Collector's edition ] each one in its own case and everything. The movie quality is great, and they both have a similar feature. When you go into the menu they have broken down the 'Makeing of' (in both movies) into parts, so instead of cramming everything into just one looong segemtent..you have different segements, one about the effects, one about the creators and so forth. And in Zathura, there is actually a whole segment with/about the Author, who is also the Author of Jumanji & The Polar Express.

I was VERY pleased with this package, the movies are great, and watching the 'making of' is just as intresting as the actual movies.

I highly recomend it. A wanderful treat for the whole family, just becareful if you have little kids, because the monsters do have a realistic look. But other than that, its a great deal.
