2009-11-02 - I love this type of going through the eras movie. The story is great. The acting is good. Finally something I can watch that has some meaning and value.

2009-10-27 - I believe this story to be based on Pablo Picasso's life.
Three generations of women who loved the artist, Mistral. The mother he loved but sacrificed for his art. The daughter he loved but lost. And the his daughter whom he also lost.
A captivating story.

2009-10-27 - this movie has a quality all its own,& i only wish that it was in widescreen. This movie kindof has a sinilar of that in THE THORNBIRDS so far as film structure. GOOD
Mistral's Daughter
2009-10-18 - When this movie originally aired, I loved it then. I watched it so much that the tape wore out. I loved the paintings that they used in this movie. The acting was supurb, the scenery great and they whole story was put together wonderfully.
You felt sorry for Mistral's real daughter, but in the end by her actions alone she got what she deserved. The movie also showed how the laws are different here in the states compared to Europe.
If you haven't seen the movie, buy it because it's one worth keeping and watching over and over.
