Editorial Review:
Toby Keith's got a big heart, judging by the songs he's written and the songs he's chosen to sing on Christmas to Christmas. Many show concern for the homeless ("Santa I'm Right Here") or disdain for the crass commercialization of the season--told through the voice of a small girl ("Jesus Gets Jealous of Santa Claus")--and other timely sentiments. Trouble is, Keith's not a great songwriter (although he's not bad storyteller). What adds to his shortcomings as a wordsmith are his melody lines, which generally sound punch pressed from that crass commercialized Nashville mold. Keith fans will enjoy the selections, however, and nearly anyone can appreciate the fact that he chose not to make a record of the same tired old standards played in the tired old contemporary-country way. --Martin Keller

Best Christmas disc ever. 
2009-05-07 - Written and performed by Toby Keith this has become a perienal favorite for my whole family. He is a great song writer and musical performer. Talented is an understatement. This really has the spirit of Christmas shining through.

2008-07-05 - I rarely like all the songs on a CD and this one is no different. But the price was right, I like Toby, and I'm glad I got it.

2007-10-17 - Very good CD if you like Toby Keith and you also don't want a CD of traditional Christmas music. Some very pretty ballads.
Find a place to purchase the two or three worthwhile songs
2007-01-12 - Like a lot of Christmas albums released by "flavor of the month" entertainers, this disc really only contains two or three songs that stand out, the rest, not so hot. A real Toby Keith fan might disagree, but then again a real Toby Keith fan is probably not a Christmas music shopper. I'd recommend Santa I'm Right Here, Santa's Gonna Take It All Back, and a couple others, but that's hardly worth the price of the full disc.
