An Oliver Stone Classic
2009-11-23 - Saw this Movie years ago when it first came out and enjoyed it very much. Have tried over the years to find and purchase it but it was either way too expensive or not available. The Camera work is excellent and the scenery spectacular. A great cast and true story line make this movie a keeper and one I will enjoy watching for years to come.

Love and War Make Heaven and Earth
2009-05-09 - This movie is a combo of a love story and a war movie. It revolves around a young Vietnamese girl, who during her tragic life in the backdrop of the Nam War, falls in love with a US Marine, Jones. It has a touching soundtrack, and it takes a more serious look at the long lasting repercussions of the Vietnam War on not just 2 nations, but on 2 people. If you enjoy movies related to the conflict, or love stories which revolve around unsurmountable odds, this one is a bit of both. I did enjoy it greatly.

2009-01-11 - WOW!!! One of a few I did not move from my seat. A story of survival, nurturing, and following a path of what was right and wrong.
