One of the best songs ever written. 
2007-11-09 - Amazing. Will always be one of my favorite songs. Brings tears to my eyes every time I listen to it. Incredibly touching lyrics. Beware, if it makes me cry, it will make you cry too.

2007-08-09 - Thought this is possibly the most commercial track from the LP, this single is worth having for the live tracks that accompany it.
Baker Baker - scream
2006-12-30 - Baker Baker is my favorite Tori song! I had picked this CD up a few years ago since it had a live version on it. Little did I know it was from her fabulous performance in State College, Pa. I'm the one you hear screaming in the background early on...I had no idea it was being taped live!
A look at Amos's "secretime." 
2005-01-16 - "1000 oceans" was the second single off of Amos's fifth solo album, "to venus and back." Just as the second disc of the album is a live collection of mostly band songs, the "1000 oceans" single offers a further look into Amos's live solo performances, played during "secretime" of her 1998 concert tour. The offerings here are the beautiful "Winter" and the heart-breaking "Baker Baker" (performed here in Pennsylvania).
A great addition to any Tori collection
2004-05-08 - The title track '1000 Oceans' is one Tori's most popular and most beautiful songs. The track is featured on the full album 'To Venus and Back', which is also very good. As all of the singles from To Venus and Back this CD contains two live tracks. On this one it's just Tori and her piano. This particular one has an astounding version of "Baker Baker" and is one of my favroite live tracks Tori has done.Her voice sounds great and the piano at the perfect sound level. Lastly is a GREAT live version of Winter.Tori makes some odd pauses in this version, but I like where she puts them and I love the song. If you find this single on Ebay or a Zshop I recommend getting it because I love it I hope you enjoy it as well.
