A worthwhile DVD to own
2007-09-06 - This was a great show, but not quite what I had expected from Mr. Tritt. It was much more mellow and laid back than I had expected it to be. Being a fan of his music since the early 1990's, I expected it to be loud and rowdy. The show was live but not what I would call kickin'. It was, as an earlier reviewer said, more like Travis Tritt unplugged.

His voice, the sound quality, the filming, and the picture quality were all great. The facility in Chattanooga Tennessee, that they chose to film in, was beautiful.

This is something that I would watch over again, so it is well worth the purchase price that Amazon is asking for it. I give it four and a half stars.

I agree, strange set list
2005-11-20 - Travis Tritt is a talented performer, no question. But after opening with a few rockin tunes, he goes into an hour of Travis Unplugged which has its moments. It ends with 2 more upbeat tunes, the finale a bit overly long only to be subdued by a break into Bible Belt (in case you didn't recognize it) which Tritt never sings. He just shakes hands and walks off the stage. Very odd. He sounds good, this DVD is FAR better than the horribly recorded MTV like concert footage. But unless you are a dieahard Tritt fan and enjoy being subdued for a while, I'm a little surprised by the set list, the only reason for my a little above average rating. In addition, the mix is bad. It's almost impossible to hear the keyboards and you lose a lot of the separation of the instruments. In addition, there's too much of a lovefest with Tritt and not enough shots of the band having fun, with the exception of needless shots on the side of the drummer when doing fills.

Good, but could have been much better
2005-09-03 - Travis Tritt is one of the best country artists of today. His voice sounds great on this DVD and the performance and picture quality is excellent. However, this DVD kind of leaves something to be desired. The main problem is the set list that Travis plays; I don't know about everyone else, but I wanted to see him rockin' on that stage. But he doesn't really start playing any rockin' songs until the last 3 or 4. So almost the whole concert is the slower softer songs, which are good, but I just don't think it's a good idea to play that many in a row. They kind of started to put me to sleep after awhile.
Don't mean to sound negative, I was just hoping to hear Travis rock much more than he did on this DVD.

Great country singer at his best.
2005-04-09 - Man where to start. I just bought this DVD at his concert I went to in Dothan, Alabama and let me tell you first about the concert I attended. Whoooooooo what a show. Travis Tritt had that Dothan Civic Center a kickin' and a screamin'. He did his show then when he left the stage everyone in there stayed and yelled for more and ole Travis didn't disappoint. He came back on and did 30 more minutes. Let me say if you ever have a chance to go to his show you better go because I am here to tell you that you will get your money's worth. And if you can't go to a live concert then buy this DVD because it is also great. It has 19 great songs. The DVD is an hour and a half. The show he did tonight was just a little over 2 hours so it would have been nice if the DVD was that long but none the less still a great DVD.

2005-01-12 - I have always liked most Travis cds but, here, I discover his full talent, INCREDIBLE ! If you want a fabulous country music concert buy this one.TOP LEVEL DVD ! The power of Travis voice is incredible, Travis has some key songs sung with his guitar only and you will discover then his incredible talent, I would have never believed any artist can sing alone like that creating such an emotion, such a strong feeling ! he plays and sings WITH HIS HEART AND DELIVERS A FANTASTIC PERFORMANCE TO HIS AUDIENCE. to add to the dream, the band is perfect, the sound is perfect and so is the image captured that magic night.
NOW I have a problem, I will have to go back one day to US to see him perform live before I die...
Buy it while you can !
