Editorial Review:
When two Texas border guards unearth the skeletal remains of a man at the wheel of a jeep with $800,000 in cash by his side, there's more than the money at stake. Suddenly they find themselves caught up in a conspiracy that stretches from Washington D.C. to the Dallas Police Department and will lead them both to the deadly truth behind the assassination of John F. Kennedy.
Flashpoint Reviews:
Flashpoint
2008-11-03 - I was the Location Manager on this picture and it was a tough one to make. The entire movie was made in and around Tucson, Arizona. We shot it in the summer with temperatures ranging upward to 110. We were 20 days in a huge wash where we buried the jeep. The top layer of the soil was like powder and even a footstep caused it to swirl. But, I had a great time on this film. The wash is located on the Kings Anvil Ranch. I told John King I needed a strip to land a plane so he got in his bulldozer and graded a 1500' landing strip for us. All the scenes shot in the city were easily done with 100% cooperation from the officials. You will most certainly enjoy this action picture with a real shocker at the end.

Great story
2008-02-18 - I consider this movie a classic of the JFK Conspiracy theory genre. Well-acted by all major characters; Kurtwood Smith is especially good as a very bad character; it's strange to see him now in a comedic role on 'That 70's Show' on TV. Rip Torn is an enduring and endearing character actor and , although not on screen too much, plays a seminal part in the story. Beautifully photographed in Tucson,Arizona area --although the story takes place on the Texas border. Highly entertaining; give it a look!
An All Time Great
2007-11-15 - Many "theory" plot movies have been made, but, this one leaves the viewer looking at genuine possibilities about the murder of President kennedy in Dallas, Texas of 11/63.
The 2 border patrol agents are skillfully portrayed by Kristofferson and Williams. A worthwhile piece of entertainment.
Dry Riverbed
2007-09-04 - This is a reasonably decent HBO movie with Kris Kristofferson and Treat Williams working for the Border Patrol. When they find a buried jeep with a sniper rifle and money they start to investigate where it came from. The next thing they know there are government agents in town that want to kill them. They must figure a way to get to the bottom of where the money came from and get out of the country without getting killed. This seems like a TV movie but the production is good enough it is certainly worth at least a rental and for a reasonable price perhaps purchasing.
