Golden Poetry 101 is a vibrant literary work composed of poetry that will inspire readers to come out of their comfort zones. The poems in this book are invigorating, and they will quench the hunger for reality. The poetry in this book deals with a lot of urban issues, and is the beginning of a poetic trilogy. What makes this book different from other poetry books? It has a variety of many topics and levels. The heart of this book contains soul, while the core of its essence has a hip-hop style of rhyming. This book is more than just poems bound together; it contains a contemporary style of poetry about everyday life. There are poems of love, betrayal, friendship, and poems of a spiritual nature. There are so many different poems in this exciting literary work that readers will be compelled to open it up time and time again. There are some poems that will touch the heart and inspire the reader to look closely at life. Some things in life are simply golden, and this book is one of them.
Golden Poetry 101 Reviews:
Good Read...
2005-08-16 - When I got my copy of this book I thought wow this is really some good stuff here. This poet golden style really puts his heart & soul into every single poem. My favorite poem was "Sometimes I Cry" it was so powerful... I'm a 22 year old college student I didn't cry but I felt like it. He has a really awesome website check it out to learn more about him @ www.freewebs.com/goldenstyle/
Absorbing!
2005-04-12 -
Golden Poetry 101 will be a tremendous blessing to all who read it. I found it refreshing, thought provoking and encouraging. Few poets are able to take reality, with hope and create a work that lifts the reader with each turn of the page. Don't pass this one up! Carlton Winfree/DE Records, Gospel Recording Artist
A Good Book!

Good Stuff
2005-03-11 - This book was a good read it dealt with a lot of real day to day issues about life. I enjoyed the authors deep insight his method for conveying soulful 3 dimension insight was powerful
Good, but...
2005-03-06 - The author has a remarkable talent. He can see the worth of even the littlest things. He takes the everday things and ideas we take for granite and makes them beautiful. However, the book was very, very, VERY clichéd. The poems were predictable and the rhyming techniques were the worst. I wouldn't buy anything else from the author. If you want originality while staying in the urban genre, try The Rose That Grew From Concrete by Tupac Shakur.
