Usher Reviews:
PLEASE READ THIS IF YOU WANT THE TRUTH IGNORE THOSE ABOVE... 3 Star Review
2003-10-03 - Please, call yourself Usher fans??? Any usher fan should know that this music is from NuBeginning, the group he was in before he was signed up... They released one album in Atlanta. There were 5 members of NuBeginning; Anthony Byrd, Adrian Johnson, Reginald McKibbens, Usher Raymond IV and Charles Yarbrough. In the early 1990s, in their hometown Chattanooga, TN, the vocal quintet released their debut album. It was only available regionally... Now that Usher is FAMOUS, they are releasing it... The NuBeginning tracks are:
1. Chatt Town
2. I Wanna Be
3. Sweet Baby
4. Superstar
5. Dream Girl
6. Jolly Dance
7. Only Human
8. The Groove
9. Keep Dreamin'
10. A Mother's Luv

then the 3 remixes and 1 song you will all recognise... hopefully!

This will explain WHY usher sounds the way he does!! Everyone knows that Usher's 2nd album My Way made him... but if you want to go back before that 6-pack, get this... you might not like it, but it's still Usher. i think this CD was a Swedish release. There is also the original NuBeginning album floating about... check www.usher8701.fsworld.co.uk www . usher8701 . fsworld . co . uk without the spaces!

ONLY BUY IF YOU WANT TO HEAR USHER AS A KID. 2 Star Review
2001-12-15 - I BOUGHT THIS DISK FROM A LOCAL STORE BECAUSE IT HAD A RECENT PHOTO OF USHER AND IT WAS RELEASED IN 2000. I THOUGHT IT WAS SOME NEW MUSIC HE RELEASED. BUT WHEN I LISTENED TO THE DISK IT WAS HIM AS A KID. I DON'T RECOMMEND YOU BUY IT UNLESS YOU WANT TO HEAR USHER AS A CHILD.

Usher...yeah right... 1 Star Review
2001-12-05 - Alright, I bought this from my local Border's. I thought I found a rare Usher import. It has his picture on the font and all. Open it up, more picutres, and info about his past and his upcoming album "All About U" (now "8701"), and even his new movie "Texas Rangers". Anyway, I put the CD in and hear what sounds like Aaron Carter singing R&B. Horrible. It doesn't sound like Usher at all. The only song I could reconize his voice from was the live recoding of "You Make Me Wanna..." (which sounds much better on his live CD by the way). As near as I can figure, maybe it's Usher's demo stuff he sent out to record companies. You know, like Chrisitna Aguilera's "Just Be Free" album. But please, save your money. I'm one of the biggest Usher fans and I regret the purchase. You're better of spending your money on the 8701 import with "Pop Ya Collar", "T.T.P.", and "Seperated." You've been warned.
