1998-06-16 - Let's be honest. Who hasn't heard "Jump" and immediately knew it was Van Halen? So maybe they're more known for "Eruption" (well Eddie anyway) and "Ain't Talkin' 'Bout Love," but this album has it all. Great synthesizer work from Eddie, as well as his guitar playing (it's Van Halen, what else is there to say?). Every song is cool and jammin'. "1984" is a perfect opening track, leading right into "Jump." "Panama"Hot for Teacher" is just as immortal. A great album. The band in their prime (and Roth's last real album with the band). END
My favorite album of all time!!
1998-04-29 - The only thing wrong with this CD is it is way too short!! Every song on this CD jams!! Songs like Panama, Hot For Teacher, I'll Wait, Jump, Drop Dead Legs, and House of Pain, just to name a few. If you only had one choice on what CD to add to your collection, THIS WOULD BE IT!!!!
