Description of Booty Call [UMD for PSP]:
Okay, so Booty Call is trashy and often sophomoric. It is still funny. Tommy Davidson and Tamala Jones have been dating for almost two months and are pushed into that big romantic night by best friends Jamie Foxx and Vivica A. Fox (as the hysterically named "Lysterine"). The friends, of course, engage in a verbal war based on instant loathing and mutual attraction. The humor is low-brow and sometimes stereotypical, but this is worth watching just for the scene in which the two guys, concerned about "safe sex," cover themselves in plastic wrap. It pushes the envelope, which is fun, but the clearly homophobic tendencies cause it to lose ground. Still, there is chemistry between the players and plenty of laugh-out-loud scenes. --Rochelle O'Gorman

An all time great.
2009-01-18 - Before purchasing the video, I had seen this film 10 times. It's one of the most funniest films I've ever seen. The dialog and acting is great. All of the people in this film were funny. I couldn't stop laughing. Although Jamie Fox was the star, I'd have to say that the others in the film made it even better. If you want to laugh a lot then this is the film for you. Thumbs Up for this film.

One of the funniest films of the late nineties
2008-03-25 - Booty Call is one of the funniest urban films ever made. Jamie Foxx had his first starring role in this film and he showed that he could carry a movie. Tommy Davidson plats second string to Foxx but the two make a great comic team and Vivca Fox is also very sexy in this movie. One has to wonder what would happened if Chris Tucker would have taken this movie on instead of Rush Hour.

I've seen funnier
2007-06-26 - I bought this movie for a friend who just loved it. I on the other hand think it was mediocre. Other than a handful of funny "one-liners" this movie leaves little to be desired. High point of the movie, almost seeing Vivica A. Fox naked...almost.

Quality is how I like it.
