Editorial Review:
With over 170 million combined albums, singles, and videos sold worldwide during her career with Arista Records, Whitney Houston has established a benchmark for superstardom that will quite simply never be eclipsed in the modern era. She is a singer's singer who has influenced countless other vocalists, male and female. Houston is triumphed by the Guinness Book of World Records as music's "Most Awarded Female Artist of All Time" with an amazing tally of 411 awards. She holds both the biggest-selling U.S. single of all-time (her career defining rendition of Dolly Parton's "I Will Always Love You") and one of the top 10 best-selling albums of all time (The Bodyguard soundtrack) to her many credits. She's also the only artist to chart seven consecutive #1 Billboard Hot 100 hits, hold seven consecutive multi-platinum albums. She reigns as the first female artist to have entered the Billboard 200 album chart at #1. Whitney's highly anticipated new studio album features a wide array of A-list producers including Stargate, R Kelly, Akon, Eric Hudson & Johnta Austin, Fernando Garabay & Harvey Mason Jr., Tricky Stewart, Swizz Beatz, David Foster and Diane Warren. On September 1, 2009, the Legend, the Icon, the Worldwide Superstar returns with her best work yet.

I Look to You Reviews:
Whitney is BACK and in TOP FORM!!! 5 Star Review
2009-11-28 - Taking into consideration that I have read many of the reviews on here, I was not expecting much from this cd. My question to those that have rated this cd poorly is "WHAT ARE YOU THINKING? YOU MUST BE NUTS!!!

If you are a Whitney Houston fan, you will LOVE this new cd. The tracks are slick, sharp, and makes you either want to sing along or dance yourself silly. I am soo soo pleased to see Whitney back!! I remember seeing her in concert twenty some odd years ago, when she first began her career, and I must confess that she is still a fantastic performer and a gifted singer, even still. The last cd, I loved from Whiney, was her double disc Greatest hits cd. I am confident that many of these tracks will appear on a Greatest Hits revision or second volume. My heart breaks when listening to I LOOK TO YOU, which is bitter sweet and sincere. MILLION DOLLAR BILL makes me want to dance by myself or get down and boogie in the car. Yes, I said boogie. : ) If you are on the fence about buying this cd I say BUY IT!! Clive Davis and Whitney took a long time to produce this cd and it was well worth the wait.

Whitney Houston is still a star, still a talented diva, and can still deliver first-rate tracks. I am still a HUGE fan!!

NO MATTER WHAT LIFE THROWS AT YOU ,KEEP FAITH AND ANYTHING AND ALL IS POSSIBLE . NEVER GIVE UP . AND LOVE YOUR FAMILY .... 5 Star Review
2009-11-25 - I WAS SO HAPPY TO HEAR AND SEE MY BABY PULL IT TOGETHER WOW IT IS WONDERFUL. NEVER NEVER GIVE UP MAY GOD BLESS AND KEEP ALL SAFE AND KEEP YOUR FAITH.......

Whitney Houston after 7 years 4 Star Review
2009-11-20 - I love anything Whitney sings. I like this cd, but I thought it could have been better. There are some good songs on here. I bought this cd in support of Whitney because to me she is one of the greatest singers ever. I hope she keeps herself straight.

Better than "Just Whitney" but.... 3 Star Review
2009-11-18 - Doesn't come close to her 1985 debut album or the 1987 "Whitney!" album, or even the "I'm Your Baby Tonight" album. I have always like Whitney Houston, who could forget that voice and those classic hit songs. "Saving All My Love For You" still remains one of my favorite songs of all time. When I heard the title cut "I Look To You", I was stunned that being out of the music spotlight for so long, that her voice would not be there. I was wrong, the song is great, but the voice isn't 100% there. Compare it to "I Will Always Love You" and you tell me the diffirence. I also enjoyed "I Didn't Know My Own Strength", great song.

The song "Million Dollar Bill", she should of thought about this song before recording it. Whitney is more of a ballad singer, but than dance music. Of course "How Will I Know" & "I Wanna Dance With Somebody", and even "My Name Is Not Susan" are classic Whitney songs but "Million Dollar Bill" does nothing for me. It didn't seem to do anything on the charts either, peaking at #100 on the Billboard Hot 100.

But Whitney, I will say that you do have that voice inside of you. Even though this album may not have been what you have done previously, but regardless you have made your mark. I highly doubt that anyone will ever forget "I Will Always Love You" or "I Wanna Dance With Somebody". I always here those songs if I ever go to a bar or club, more of a remix versions but it's still Whitney!

Now I also did read that she will be going on tour, I wouldn't mind seeing her again. I did see her on the "Bodyguard Tour" and she was very astounding. Let's make it a good tour Whitney! =)

I only liked 2 songs... 2 Star Review
2009-11-15 - so I gave it 2 stars. I like Whitney Houston - always have; but, this just doesn't come close to sounding like the Whitney of old. The songs are shorter and she really can't belt them out like she used to! We all get older, we all change, but except for "I Look to You" I would not have purchased this one. It's probably time for me to invest in an MP3 player - for albums such as this. I hope she can improve over time.
