Editorial Review:
With over 170 million combined albums, singles, and videos sold worldwide during her career with Arista Records, Whitney Houston has established a benchmark for superstardom that will quite simply never be eclipsed in the modern era. She is a singer's singer who has influenced countless other vocalists, male and female. Houston is triumphed by the Guinness Book of World Records as music's "Most Awarded Female Artist of All Time" with an amazing tally of 411 awards. She holds both the biggest-selling U.S. single of all-time (her career defining rendition of Dolly Parton's "I Will Always Love You") and one of the top 10 best-selling albums of all time (The Bodyguard soundtrack) to her many credits. She's also the only artist to chart seven consecutive #1 Billboard Hot 100 hits, hold seven consecutive multi-platinum albums. She reigns as the first female artist to have entered the Billboard 200 album chart at #1. Whitney's highly anticipated new studio album features a wide array of A-list producers including Stargate, R Kelly, Akon, Eric Hudson & Johnta Austin, Fernando Garabay & Harvey Mason Jr., Tricky Stewart, Swizz Beatz, David Foster and Diane Warren. On September 1, 2009, the Legend, the Icon, the Worldwide Superstar returns with her best work yet.
I Look to You Reviews:
Incredible!
2009-11-07 - The CD was received in perfect condition. Whitney is back and her music is wonderful.
Houston is back
2009-11-06 - Houston is really back. Her voice sounds great over well produced music. I feel this purchase is worth your hard earned money.
Is this suppose to be a Comeback cd?
2009-11-04 - Bought this with high expectations.....Was very disappointed in this cd.....it is all dribble...What has happened to her voice? Wow it seems to me that her career is OVER! and all due to her crack addiction! I have listened to this, tried to like it, but my mind keeps wandering to other cds i want to listen too. This is a cd that was a waste of studio time and whitneys.......i give this cd one star!
Whitney's Back
2009-11-04 - I loved this album to death. I can't stop playing it. However, I am interested in obtaining a copy of the single remixes of million dollar bill and I look to you. By the way, is there a U.S. single release from her album? Is the U.S. still doing single releases?
Just Okay
2009-11-03 - I am not sure why everyone is making such a big deal about this album. I am happy Whitney finally wised up and stopped using drugs but it has taken a toll on her voice BIG TIME! Just because she decided to stop doing wrong doesn't mean her album should receive more hype than it deserved.
